Portinscale lies off the A66 just to the West of Keswick. From junction 40 on M6, take the A66 past Keswick, watch for the sign to turn left for "Portinscale, Grange and Newlands valley". On turning left follow road (past Farmers Arms on your left) and then after 200 yards (and where road goes right) you turn left. We are then some 60 yards on the left, immediately before the Derwentwater Hotel opposite.
